Dick Joyce

Dick Joyce has served the Church for more than forty years as a pastor, a missionary and a Bible college president.  However, most of his work has involved speaking internationally in leadership seminars and in Spiritual Life Conferences, which take him thousands of miles each year.  Fluent in Spanish, he is in demand in the Hispanic world as a speaker in conventions and in evangelistic crusades.  Through many years, multiplied thousands have been converted to Christ and filled with the Holy Spirit through his ministry.

As president of Global Impact, Dick has often been involved in humanitarian projects both in Latin America and in Asia.  In the major cities of the Spanish-speaking world, he has seen the power of the gospel radically transform and lift people from poverty to a new level of life.

His deep knowledge of the Word of God and his presentation of scriptural themes such as Jesus’ healing power, intimacy with God, spiritual warfare and the prayer life have brought Joyce a reputation as a dynamic communicator.  His teaching and preaching are seasoned with a humor that has captivated audiences in many nations.

Dick is known as a prophet.  He not only preaches with a prophetic touch, but he also ministers to individuals in his meetings with a personal word from the Lord.  Christians of many denominations have experienced Holy Spirit renewal in their lives and leave his meetings encouraged and filled with a new sense of God’s presence and power.

For the last eight years, Dick has spent much of his time planting a fast-growing congregation in Mexico City and giving apostolic oversight to a network of churches throughout that nation. Mentoring a new generation of leaders is one of his top priorities.  Though he is “on the road” much of the time, he and his wife Lou make their home in Tucson, Arizona.  Their sons, Michael and Ryan, though grown and away from home, are actively involved in their own ministries as well.
