The word father is used 311 times in the New Testament and 249 times it is in reference to God. Never once in the Old Testament to God as our father. Jesus gave us permission to become a son to the Father who is the creator.

The Lord has come to heal the broken parts of society that are orphaned. As people are introduced to a continuous source of supply and safety, they become aware of their identity. Each person has been given a name name from the one who is always perfect, named with destiny and purpose. Jesus's purpose in coming to the earth was for you to be restored to God as Father, to restore orphaned children to an inheritance and blessing.

Abraham strengthened his faith through every disappointment by giving glory to God and became known as the Father of Faith. Abraham had faith for a miracle, not his salvation, but his faith in the miracle became his salvation. Without the miraculous, there is a major missing component of the nature of the Father. The greatest reality of God is as the Father. The revelation of the Father gives us our nature and our identity. You never become jealous of someone if you know who you are.
