Is Your House Haunte…

Kris Vallotton

March 01, 2009

Kris shares that in our identity in Christ, we are no longer sinners, we are saints. Baptism kills the old nature. If we are crucified with Christ, it is no longer I who live, but He who lives in me. Therefore, we can still sin, but it is no longer our nature to sin. The main point of of Romans is that we are free from sin.
There are still struggles that you may have in life, but it is not the struggle against the old nature. You need to make sure that you are fighting the right enemy and not putting effort in to kill something that is already dead.

Where Christians Go …

Bill Johnson

February 22, 2009

Faith in the reality of an old nature has kept people from heavenly encounters. You have legal access to the realms of God's Presence. Living from this reality is what makes faith normal. The church has the authority to raise people from the dead, and unfortunately that authority has been used to raise from the dead the old nature. We need to not just say amen to a truth that touches our minds, but put a demand on heaven to experience that truth. Paul said that as sure as Jesus died so did your old nature. Worship allows us to know what it means to be seated in heavenly places. We have legal access to the throne room of God with divine encounters with Holy Spirit.
