Paul speaks on one of his favorite subjects, the glory of God. In Hebrew 3 Paul says "You have a greater glory than was on the face of Moses". The Glory of God is dwelling within every believer. What a tragedy to not recognize the glory of God within us and within every member of the church.

Paul goes after anything that keeps us from the presence of God.It was the enemy's intention that shame would force us to hide from God. Shame creates a prison in our minds that we have to learn to step out of. If we aspire to be like someone else instead of aspiring to be like God, we have missed the mark and shame will have power in our lives. Shame keeps us from the keys of freedom that are available to us.

When the blessing of the Lord is upon you, if it doesn't lead you to gratitude for grace, it will lead you to arrogance and misuse of power. The Lord wants to restore His people to being camped around the Presence. The world can respond quickly to the Presence because of lack of familiarity. A child-like approach is essential to staying away from spirit of familiarity and entitlement. We are coming to a place where the work of the enemy not our greatest enemy, but your response the Lord in the next move.

Kris Vallotton explains how God can use different means to communicate with us. God can decide to change the way that He speaks with us, and we should be aware of what God may be doing. When God is silent, He is redeeming us. As Christians, we must be able to recognize different manifestations of God's Presence, even if it looks completely dissimilar from anything we have seen.

He expands this lesson to include the blessings in our life, the miracles we are experiencing, and the joy and hope we have in our lives. Pastor Johnson encourages us not to "level off", but to ask for rain in our good circumstances.

Everything about you was designed to have continuous encounters with the Lord. The original design was for us to live in the manifest presence of the Lord. in Deuteronomy 4, the Lord spoke to the people in the mist of fire. They heard His voice but saw no form so that they could not make an idol from the form. The lack of clarity with which we are allowed to see the Lord is typically due to the idolatry in our hearts. The Lord will not show you more than you can handle and maintain your purity.
It is easy to get caught up in the manifestations which are essential and miss the face which is hidden in the clouds. When you try to reduce the experience to a principle, to that degree, He will withhold His presence. Every time you see the Holy Spirit move, the Face of God is there.
The Lord is about to reveal a measure of His goodness we have never known. We will fear the Lord because of the His goodness revealed.

Through the pursuit of the Presence, you will be a witness to all people. We need both the Presence and the training to be our most effective. At the end of the service, there is a time of inpartation for a desire for the Presence and the lost.
