Discipleship is an integral part of community. By pouring our lives into others we fulfill our mandate to disciple people. This will bring a true and sustaining impact on our communities. When Jesus spoke about "fruit that remains" he was speaking of people. Long term fruit that remains comes from discipleship.

We are being introduced to another level of living in divine order. Divine order doesn't require you to be perfect, it requires faith and intimacy with God. We have been given the power to rule as princes in divine order.

The tension in Scripture is an invitation to receive revelation. This causes Christians to seek relationship with God instead of having a relationship based on rules. Relationship is the foundation of how to comprehend revelation and relieve tension.
The greatest revelations come over time and with process. We need to value our inheritance in the same measure as those who gave their lives to give it.

When you are surrounded by like minded revivalists, it is easy to believe in the strength of your relationship with God. However, when the people you are surrounded by are removed, are your roots deep enough to survive the storm? When you are caught up in the responsibilities of life, how easily will you be moved by God?

He explains that the dog would "honor" what the other dogs would recognize, and it positioned him to have more blessings. By using the principles that we see in daily life, we can live a more fulfilled Christian life.

God's design for redemption is rooted in community from beginning to end. Jesus' primary prayer before going to the cross was for oneness and a restoration of unity in the body of Christ. Moreover, Christianity must rest within the context of true intimacy, which is created in a place void of fear, where walls are down and another person can see in and impart his or her influence. It takes courage, commitment, and sacrifice to intentionally foster community, but it leads to endless rewards.

The law cannot provide mercy. Only the judge can provide mercy by interpreting the law. Law can be altered to protect the one the judge favors. When relationship is absent, we defer to the law. Love takes the framework of law, and through it, provides mercy.

Because we have been made in the image of a Triune God, we were created to mirror the relationship between Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Since the fall of man, God has been maneuvering history to restore sonship and bring about a reunion between mankind and Father God. He desires to bring us into a simple trust in His goodness and love, which leads us into our true identity as sons and daughters.
