God's design for redemption is rooted in community from beginning to end. Jesus' primary prayer before going to the cross was for oneness and a restoration of unity in the body of Christ. Moreover, Christianity must rest within the context of true intimacy, which is created in a place void of fear, where walls are down and another person can see in and impart his or her influence. It takes courage, commitment, and sacrifice to intentionally foster community, but it leads to endless rewards.
Let the first response to crisis or success be to cry out to the Lord. Whether you are in crisis or triumph, you need to come before the Lord until He speaks to you. If you come with absolute abandonment and stay until He speaks to you, you will be changed. If difficulty doesn't drive me into his presence, success never will. He won't release blessing that will destroy you. To the degree that blessing drives you into the presence of God, you can be trusted.
