The further you go with God, the less you can take with you. The Acts 5 church walked in great power and favor and none came to them lightly. We need to host the Presence with conscious awareness. The enemy wants you anxious because you create the environment around you that is inside of you. Try to live in such a way that nothing gets bigger than the presence of God in your live. You are only good for a problem if you go with knowledge that the spirit of the Lord is upon you. In 1 Peter 2, faith is contrasted with disobedience, not unbelief. Where there is no faith, there is disobedience. Faith does not grow by striving, it grows by surrendering. The church thrives in opposition, the greatest difficulty is how we perform in blessings. A person is tested by the praise that is given to them. He will bless the world before will bless the carnal believer. He looks for those who can handle the honor and praise. You need to draw near to the voice of the Lord for your sake, not to minister to others. In 1 Kings 18, Elijah humbled himself before the Lord in prayer and seven times asked the servant to look for a cloud as a sign of God answering his prayer. On the 7th time, there was a cloud the size of a man's hand, but that was all the encouragement Elijah needed. Elijah was leaning into the Lord and didn't need great signs to believe God. If you come with absolute abandonment and stay until He speaks to you, you will be changed. If difficulty doesn't drive me into his presence, success never will. Testimonies prophesies the outcome not the procedure. Often the principle that was used in the last season will not be the principle for victory in the current situation. The Lord is not wanting to build a principled people, but those who are addicted to His voice. Returning to the promises of God is a strenght we can draw from. The promises of God must have preeminence in your thoughts and life. Isaiah 45:2-3 are promises for our destiny and there is a special grace for the promises of v 2&3 to released upon us in 2010! Jesus was baptized and the Lord declared this is My Son in who I am well pleased. Then the Holy Spirit lead Jesus into the wilderness where He was tempted. The Holy Spirit lead Jesus into conflict. The only time you are lead into conflict is when God has prepared you to win. The first temptation was to question who Jesus was. In conflict, you build character through refinement and are able to stand on the word of God which demonstrates His word is safe ground. Jesus Is Our Model

Bill shares a beautiful prophetic word out of Toronto a year ago. The word speaks to Toronto representing the Father, Kansas City representing Jesus and Redding representing Holy Spirit. Luke 1 - An angel appears to Zacharias and spoke of the birth of John the Baptist. He was told to not be afraid for your prayer has been heard, but the word really meant don't be afraid because the prayer you no longer pray has been heard. Zacharias was then made mute. God did not want Zacharias's words to affect the the promise that was inside of Elizabeth. God also hid Elizabeth away for 5 months until evidence was undeniable and all could then rejoice in the pregnancy and not cast doubt. Resurrected Promises

Luke 4:18 is Jesus’ initial declaration of why He is on the planet and what He will be about doing. The Spirit of the Lord is upon me. This declaration is about becoming aware of the Holy Spirit so that you can broker what you are conscious of. Jesus is given the the title of the Anointed One. In God’s kingdom a title doesn’t go without an experience. The title confirmed the experience. Being called a Christian therefore declares that we are the anointed ones. Stations of Life
