Both blood and water flowed from the pierced Savior's side. With His blood He deals with our sin and with water He continuously sanctifies us. Just as Eve came from Adam's side, so too does the pure and spotless bride of the last Adam come from Jesus! Jesus not only cleanses us, he woos us!
