Present Day Power

Bill Johnson

February 06, 2011

There is a difference between catching a wave and starting a wave. Authority is allows you start a wave while anointing allows you to ride a wave. We need wisdom to understand the difference between an individual anointing and a corporate anointing. A corporate anointing creates a multiplied affect because God has written into law the affect of unity. Jesus brought the apostles into His own personal anointing of authority and power. But there came a day when the apostles needed to have power and anointing out of their own experience.

Apostolic Admonition…

Bill Johnson

October 31, 2010

The apostolic role is to set-up an order to affect culture so that heaven feels at home. In 1 Timothy 2, Paul gives Timothy an apostolic admonition, he provides cultural transformation instruction. We have been given a mandate to invade a system as servants to affect cultural transformation.
When the Lord brings a word, it must be opposed. The Word of God over your life will attract conflict. The conflict is the only way we can see the strength of heaven over the word.
As we embark to transform a city, we must have the giving of thanks for all men. Giving thanks is one of the most revolutionary traits possible, it is a posture of humility. Everything you immerse in thankfulness has increase. He has put a capacity in us to expand the work of redemption in the earth with a spirit of thankfulness. Your ability to have thankfulness for whomever is a leader is the most transforming ability to affect a culture.
