Series: Key Messages on Stewardship

We all stand on the shoulders of giants. Without the work and effort of revivalists before us the church would not have the breakthrough and revelation it has today.
God didn't make us a His second choice. Even after we've failed, God does not give up on His commitment to our success in this life. Our past doesn't define who we are. Once we are in Christ, our past is overruled and we inherit His blessing.

Bill uses the illustration of his hunting dog, Rez, to explain how we can be better stewards of what God is doing. He explains that the dog would "honor" what the other dogs would recognize, and it positioned him to have more blessings. By using the principles that we see in daily life, we can live a more fulfilled Christian life.

If we honor those that go before us, even those that ended poorly, we will have access to their anointing. We honor them because in honoring we get to draw upon what they bring to the table. If honor a prophet in name of prophet you receive a prophet's reward.
If we don't remember our history, an area of prior strength later becomes a strong-hold where assaults are launched to mock the move of God.
First and foremost, we must honor the Holy Spirit. God lit the fire on the altar, but a priest was responsible to keep it burning. Every revival began because of God, but every revival ended because of man. Fire always falls on sacrifice and stops falling when there is nothing on the altar.

Chris Gore reminds of the importance of remembering what God has done. Chris shares practical, and personal ways that we can continually focus on what God is doing, and not on what God is not doing. By using colorful illustrations, Chris encourages us to maintain a place of confidence in God, and recognize our God-given authority, not being distracted by the enemy's ploys.

Recession is just a bad idea. God is releasing an anointing to deal with that cycle. When we believe recession is a superior reality, we turn in fear, and our fear causes a collapse. Increase is the only mental posture for the believer. People who see according to Kingdom perspective are conditioned to change circumstances to line up with God's perspective. Transformed people transform people.

This message has caused a ripple effect in our church and to many around the world who have suffered loss and financial hardship. We have testimonies of lost items being restored, legal cases dropped, financial shifts and market sales contrary to the current economy. Listen with a heart of faith, and see what God will do to bring a Kingdom shift in your own life. It has been known as the "I want my knife back message"
