Series: Transformed People Transform Cities

This is the last session in the transformed series. In Genesis 2, the Lord gave Adam a helpmate. A better translation of the word helpmate is power, strength, rescue. This is a profound definition of ministering out of opposite strengths or in power face to face. This applies to our relationship with God. As our relationship increases, we shift from servants to friends. He wants to co-labor with us and is asking us what are the desires from our heart. The understanding of the sovereignty of God is changing, and it will change how we approach our responsibilities.

Renewing of your mind is key to personal transformation. One of our most marvelous touls is joy. Joy is supernatural in the midst of a crisis. In the world feelings follow action. When you host the presence of the lord, you get more done on accident then you ever did on purpose. The things that concern you has a seed for kingdom explosion.
The kingdom says the seed will produce what i need and a renewed mind sees the oak tree in the acorn.

The un-renewed mind is at war with God. The renewed mind enhances the expression of faith and cooperates with a life-style of faith.

We have dual citizenship. We are citizens of this world, but also of heaven. At times we live with a world view hoping to tap into heaven. We can't use the rules of the world to tap into the resources of the kingdom of heaven. When you experience something with God, it is that is an introduction into your inheritance. We need to steward it to come into more. In this world resources are moved by human need. In His world it is not human need that pulls on resources, it is faith and stewardship.

We don't teach our experience when it comes to sin, we teach what the Word says. However, with healing we teach not everyone you pray for will be healed. We don't teach out of our experience for sin, and we owe the world the same teaching in regards to disease. Our theology must come from the goodness of God. Our theology can't be built around our imperfection, but formed around the perfection of Christ.

The mind is either being renewed, or it is at war with God. The Lord is giving us a revelation to lead us into encounter with God, to establish a heart for a world we cannot see. Our hunger guides our perception. You are dead to sin and so have the right to see from heavenly perspectives because heaven is opened over you. You will always broker the nature of the world you are most aware of. Every sovereign act of God is revelation of His nature and ways. Sovereign acts of God are to teach us what should then become intentional acts by the body of Christ.

The transformed mind is one of the most useful tools to see the will of God on earth realized. The renewed mind comes about from divine encounter. and changes how we think. Renewed mind can demonstrate the will of God. The Lord is looking for a body that fully cooperates with the commands from the head.
When I sin, it doesn't happen from your old nature (it is dead). Powers and principalities mimic the old nature so that you come under the deception of a wrong self image that says you haven't changed. The enemy wants us to be introspective so that we reproduce what we see. However, we are being transformed into the image of God, from glory to glory.

Romans 12:2 do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
The renewed mind lives and operates from the inner awareness of the mind of Christ and comes through the encounter. The heart is capable of a response before the mind can understand. Lord requires a heart response before mental agreement, heart response says surrender while the mind response says agreement. Many have come into mental agreement, but not personal transformation because it didnt begin with surrender.
Romans 6: 11 consider yourself to be dead to sin.
Dead people do not make bad choices. The death of Christ was sufficient to make sin a non issue. Not only is it a settled issue, the deception is thinking that we live in battle with our old nature. You have to believe a lie to sin once you are born-again.
