We are the bride of Christ. It's fascinating to learn about the relationship between husband and wife that specifically reveals the relationship with Jesus and his church. One of the great tragedies of life is when the bible is interpreted by people who are not in love. It is so easy to focus on the intellectual side of the Kingdom, and to lose sight of the incredibly deep, intimate relationship with Jesus that is offered to us.
People cannot be punished into purity. The approach we have to people, the approach we have to life needs to be consistent with somebody who is in love.
