Gabriel Wilson
Gabriel Wilson has channeled his natural creative and reflective talents into a variety of eclectic musical & creative pursuits for well over a decade. He crafted one of the more impressive mainstream club bands in the Pacific Northwest before an African mission trip redirected him completely. He then put together The Rock and Roll Worship Circus, a glam-tinted, Dove-Award winning evangelistic worship experience that set songs designed for congregational worship to rhythms & sounds influenced by The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Pink Floyd and The Who. That ensemble signed to Sony/Epic/Integrity Music, and eventually evolved into a more introspective, ambient band called The Listening, which married the intensity of creative rock n roll with the atmosphere of praise, receiving wide critical acclaim throughout the US and Europe. He has rocked mainstream clubs, headlined major US & European festivals, toured internationally with Delirious?, and even became the staff worship pastor at a 3,000 member church in Folsom, California before moving to Redding, CA in late 2011 with his wife Elisa and their three children.
He serves on the Bethel worship team as both a worship leader and drummer. He has taught at BSSW in 2011 & 2012, and is the producer of "Without Words", releasing in 2013 from Bethel Music.
