Ministry With Grief - - July 10, 2009

Grace is the operational power of God. The challenge is to be stewards of the grace God has already given us. It is important to steward your time, emotional strength, physical strength, and spiritual strength in order to have longevity. There is peace in doing what God has for us, and there is always enough time to do everything the Lord has called us to do. Manage your whole being. Protect your innocence and learn to say "no". Live out of who you are, whose you are, and what He requires of you.

We cannot lose conciousness of the God who does the impossible, if we do, ministry will be reduced to man's spiritual gifts.You will always become like the one you worship. We must choose to focus our attention on God and not on false idols. Worshipping a false god diminishes our abillity to percieve right from wrong. God Himself is the glory of man, our worship is giving back to Him what He has given to us.

Discipline is a part of God's plan in our lives. Progress and growth in the Kingdom is rewarded by pruning and discipline. (John 15) Pruning and discipline does not come out of bad circumstances, it is His voice. His voice brings healing and wholeness. The purpose of His discipline is to bring us into His holiness.
